The diversity of Fauna and Flora

It is recognized as a "protection forest" thanks to its richness and quality of its fauna and flora. It is also known for its 800 natural pools due to its clay subsoil and without relief.

On the flora side, you can admire oaks, birches, hornbeams, scots pines and many other softwoods.

The lucky ones may have the opportunity to see some deers, wild boars, hares, foxes, rabbits, pigeons, woodcock, feet or ducks.

Many activities

150 km of cycle paths are at your disposal: walking, cycling, jogging, rollerblading and even horse riding. It's up to you !

For budding explorers, take the path "Sénart, in search of a secret" and discover the treasures of the forest. Admire the star-shaped crossroads, designed at the base to see and be seen during the royal hunts of the time.
